Wildra Ollis Krulac, 92, passed away on September 18, 2013 at St. Judes Hospital in Fullerton, California. She was born on February 9, 1921 in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Claude Eugene and Mattie Lee (Anderson) Lundy.
Wildra grew up in the Bloomfield community near Philadelphia, Mississippi. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1939. Shortly after graduation she began a career as a hairdresser beginning in Philadelphia and Union, Mississippi, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, and retiring in 1979 from Vanity Fair (Hinshaws) in Whittier, California.
She and William John Krulac, Sr. were married on February 28, 1942 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. They were married for 70 years and lived in Kenner, Louisiana before moving to Whittier, California in 1956. Wildra was very creative and enjoyed sewing, cooking, home decorating, gardening, and styling hair.
Wildra is survived by her children: Mary Ann (Michael) Mallette of Tempe, AZ, William John (Linda) Krulac, Jr. of Thousand Oaks, CA and Cynthia Jean Krulac (Marty Stiles) of Elizabeth, CO, and grandchild, Jillian Marie Krulac of Thousand Oaks, CA
The funeral service and interment will be held on October 9, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA alongside her husband, William.
