Virginia Noftsger Patterson

Virginia Noftsger Patterson was born on May 18, 1921 in Marion, Iowa to Glenn and June (Powers) Noftsger. Virginia grew up in Colombia, Iowa and attended school in Marion county.



On June 13, 1942 she married Adam Patterson. After her husband Adam finished his service in the Army during World War II the couple moved to Denver, Colorado and eventually settled in Whittier, California.



Virginia had many interests. She was a devoted housewife and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, arts and crafts. For many years she volunteered at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital of Whittier. She and her husband Adam loved to travel together. Their trips included visiting family and, of course, going to any and all casinos.



On March 18, 2015 Virginia passed away at her home in Whittier, California at the age of 93.
