Virginia Ann Koseff

Koseff, Virginia, 81, of La Mirada, CA passed away on June 16, 2011. Born October 17, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio, Virginia married her loving husband, Carl Koseff June 12, 1954, to whom she was married for 54 years until his death on June 19, 2008. A compassionate wife, mother and grandmother, Virginia worked at Whittier Intercommunity Hospital for many years, was deeply involved with charitable work at St. Paul of the Cross Church and was passionate about genealogy. Her husband Carl and son-in-law Michael preceded her in death, as did her parents and 3 sisters. Virginia is survived by her 6 devoted children and their spouses, Carla Rago (Gary), Catherine Douglas, Craig Koseff, Chris Koseff, Carolyn Koseff (Michael), and Christianne Pittenger (Rich); 3 adoring grandchildren, Jackson Koseff, Mikaila and Makenzie Pittenger. She is also survived by her brother Robert Arter, many nieces, nephews, dear friends and her loving & faithful caregiver, Aida Palencia. There will be a viewing Thurs. June 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00pm and Friday June 24th from 8:00 to 9:00am at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601. A mass will be held Friday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 14020 Foster Rd. La Mirada, 90638 with burial to follow at Olive Lawn Memorial Park, 13926 La Mirada Blvd., La Mirada.
