Van passed away on June 2, 2012 in Whittier, California. Born on March 5, 1956 in Ft. Worth, Texas, Van was born to Elmer & Charlene Weber. As a young man, Van grew up in Arlington, Texas. As an adult, he worked in Engineering for Union Pacific as well as Amtrak in the railroad industry. In his occupation, as a Railroad Engineer, he lived in many places around the country, including Fort Worth, Texas; Huntington Beach, California; and La Mirada, California, before coming to live in Whittier. He was passionate about music; an avid fan of the Grateful Dead. He loved the outdoors. And on many occasions, he was known to take scenic drives to explore and enjoy nature. Van is survived by his son; Justin Weber, sister; Terri Weber, mother; Charlene Carmichael, and many other beloved friends. A celebration of Van's life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 3:00PM - 6:00PM with a moment of silence at 4:20PM.
