Terry Holguin

Terry Holguin was born January 1, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas, to Alejandro and Guadalupe Hernandez. She passed away November 11, 2012 in Whittier, California.



Terry grew up and went to school in San Antonio, Texas, and then ventured to California in 1959. On September 17, 1967, she married Miguel Holguin in Los Angeles, California. To that union were born three children: Joseph, Miguel, Jr., and Alma.



Having fun, spending time with family and friends, was her favorite pasttime. She enjoyed going to the casinos, dancing and drinking her brewskies (Bud Light) or her glass of red wine--with ice cubes! She was a big spender at the penny slots!



Terry never hesitated to help others. She was always happy to help those in need. She was a very charitable, noble and non-judgmental woman that accepted and loved all people for who they are.



Viewing will take place on Monday, November 19, 4-7pm with a vigil to immediately follow. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10am. Both events will take place at the White Emerson Mortuary Chapel, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA. Burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery.
