Susan Sharron Pineda passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024, in Whittier, California. She was born on January 17, 1950, in Denver, Colorado to her mother Maria Rickman.
Susan led a fulfilling career as a supervisor for 27 years working throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. She was greatly appreciated for her leadership skills and commitment to excellence.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, Susan's life had many other dimensions. She was a military wife who experienced the joys and challenges of living in various states such as Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington.
In addition to her career and military life, Susan had a passion for flower arrangement. She found joy in creating beautiful bouquets that brought smiles to the faces of those around her. Susan was also an active member of the Rambling Travelers of Whittier group. Exploring new places and creating lasting memories with fellow travelers were moments she cherished dearly.
Susan's family was at the center of her heart. She is survived by her loving husband George, their son George Jr., and five adoring grandchildren. The bond she shared with her siblings Mike, Jim, and Tom created many great memories throughout their lives.
A Mass honoring Susan's life will be held on February 13, 2024, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church located at 7215 Newlin Ave in Whittier, California. The services will begin at 11:00 AM with reception to follow. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Susan's remarkable achievements and celebrating the love she shared with all who knew her.
The passing of Susan has left a void in the hearts of her loved ones and those who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy as a devoted wife, caring mother, dedicated friend, and accomplished professional will be cherished forever. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
