Steven M. Romo, lovingly known as Steve, passed away on October 21, 2024 in Victorville, California, at the age of 70. Born on April 14, 1954, in Los Angeles, California, he grew up in Pico Rivera and proudly graduated from El Rancho High School in 1972.

For over 26 years, Steve resided in Hesperia with his cherished wife, Regina Romo, and their beloved children. He dedicated nearly three decades of his professional life to Southern California Gas Company, where he was known for his commitment and service for 29 years before retirement.

Steve was a passionate individual who treasured time spent with his family. He loved traveling in his RV, embarking on memorable annual camping trips to Yosemite. His interests also included off-road racing, as well as following Formula 1 and Nascar, demonstrating his spirit and love for adventure.

He is survived by his devoted spouse, Regina Romo; his son, Adrian Welsh; his daughters, Alyssa Romo-Howard and Alayna Romo; his grandson, Vladimir Welsh; and his son-in-law, Gary Howard. His legacy of love and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service to honor Steven M. Romo will take place on November 15, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at White Emerson Mortuary located at 13304 Philadelphia St, Whittier, CA 90601. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life and the immense love he brought to those around him.
