Steven B. Chandler

Steven Chandler passed away on June 11, 2012 in Surprise, Arizona. Born on July 1, 1953, Steve was born to Kenneth & Barbara Chandler in Pomona, California. On June 28, 1991, he was married to Tracey Edinger, the woman whom he couldn't live without, and together they raised 4 children.Steve grew up in Whittier, California and attended Fernview & Murphy Ranch Elementary Schools. He then attended Hillview Middle School before going to La Serna High School. For a brief time he attended classes at Rio Hondo Community College before becoming an Elevator Technician.He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. He loved waterskiing at 'The River,' he was a true 'grill-master,' and was a devoted fan of NHRA Drag-racing, USC College Football, and the Los Angeles Lakers.Steve is survived by his wife; Tracey Chandler, his children; Nicole Chandler, Kasey Chandler, Stephanie Chandler, Michelle Chandler, Michael Chandler, Katie Chandler, and Kellie Chandler; and his sister, Sandy Chandler.A Memorial Service for Steve will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00AM at the First Friends Church of Whittier, 13205 East Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601. A reception will take place immediately following the service at the Friends Church.
