Stephanie Susanne Serrano

Stephanie Susanne Serrano, 46, was born May 24, 1969, in Montebello, California, to Johnny and Rachel (Lopez) Serrano. She passed away on August 23, 2015, in Moreno Valley, California, following at courageous battle with cancer.



Stephanie grew up and went to school in Whittier, California, graduating from Pioneer High School in 1987. She later met and fell in love with the love of her life, William Bustos. On September 13, 2003, they were married at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Whittier, California. Stephanie and William made their home in Whittier until moving to Moreno Valley in 2009.



Cooking, baking, and doing arts and crafts were among Stephanies hobbies. She was also an avid football fan, rooting for Notre Dame in college ball, and the Chicago Bears professional team. Above all else, Stephanie enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Be it a holiday, a special event, or just because, she loved having those she loved over to spend time together.



Her family will remember Stephanie as a loving, sweet woman who was family oriented and selfless. She always put the needs of others above her own, and she was the glue that held everyone together. She was a wonderful wife, devoted daughter, special sister, and an amazing aunt who adored her nieces and nephews.



Survivors include her husband, William Bustos; parents, John and Rachel Serrano; three brothers, John, Edward (Jessica), and Chris (Monique) Serrano; and her fur babies, Cubby and Buddy.



Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Whittier, California. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Rosemead, California.
