Signe Sandra Ehrgott, 68, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 in Orange, California. Born in California on November 10th, 1945, Sandy was the daughter to Emery & Augustus (Gamst) Sanstrum. She was married to US Veteran Edward Carl Ehrgott, and together they had two sons, Edward & James Ehrgott.



Growing up, Sandy attended college before working for many years as a secretary at US Steel. She was a very devout woman, being involved in the Lutheran church. Her son, Edward, recalls her faith as being very important to her throughout her life.



Sandy is survived by her sons, Edward and James, as well as many friends she had met throughout her journey of life.



A viewing will be held on Thursday, October, 8th, 2014 from 3:00PM 5:00PM at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th, 2014 at 11:30AM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518 where she will be interred with her husband, Edward. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date for those friends who are not able to attend the graveside in Riverside.
