Sandra Coronado

Sandra Coronado, born on February 17, 1961, in Compton, California, passed away on September 24,2024, in Whittier, California. She will be remembered as a a loving sister, mother, grandmother, as well as a compassionate caregiver who dedicated over a decade of her life to the medical field, serving those in need.

Growing up in La Mirada, California, Sandra had a strong educational foundation, attending Benton Middle School before graduating from John Glenn High School in Norwalk, California. During her high school years, she proudly took on the role of yearbook photographer in her senior year, showcasing her early passion for photography.

Sandra was the cherished daughter in a family of ten, where love and care were the cornerstones of her upbringing. This deep familial bond continued throughout her life as she nurtured her own children and grandchildren with the same warmth and affection that defined her childhood.

She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Sophia Acuña and Sabrina Sermeño; her son, William Sermeño; her son-in-law, David Acuña; and her cherished grandchildren, Josiah Acuña and Ariel Acuña. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of kindness and creativity.

In her free time, Sandra found joy in various hobbies, including crocheting, sewing, and arts and crafts. Her love for photography remained a constant throughout her life, allowing her to capture beautiful moments and memories that her family will forever cherish.

Sandra Coronado's life was one marked by her commitment to caring for others, her artistic talents, and her unwavering love for her family. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
