Ruth Doreen Cuci Gaytan, 57, passed away on September 26, 2016 at her home in West Covina, California. Born on October 15, 1958, Ruth was born to her parents, Joseph & Aurora Gaytan. She is survived by many family members and friends who deeply miss her.



She grew up in City Terrace, a community in the San Rafael Hills in Los Angeles County. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Los Angeles. She went on in life to live in Montebello and West Covina, and worked in healthcare at Whittier Hospital where she registered patients to the emergency room.



Ruth had a big personality. This showed in everything she did. She had a passion for gardening and decorating, which she showcased at her home she had a beautiful house and yard! She enjoyed collecting dolls and other trinkets. She especially loved spoiling her nieces & nephews with home-cooked meals. Her times of fellowship with family always included sharing a Diet Coke with those she loved to catch up on life. Ruth also deeply loved her dogs, Sugar and Wally. They were her kids.



Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Aurora Gaytan and her brother, Mario Trejo. She is survived by her siblings, Ernie Garcia, Louie Gaytan, Joseph Gaytan, Patricia Nunley, Raymond Gaytan, Rachel Gatyan, Jeanette Morgana and Richard Gaytan. She is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews.
