Ruben Morato Ledesma Sr., a dedicated man who spent his career working for the Philippine National Railways and later Pantranco Transport, has peacefully passed away. He retired from the Philippine National Railways in Naga City, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Born in Pili Camarine Sur, Bicol, Philippines, on May 10, 1940, Ruben's journey through life was marked by his faith and devotion to Our Lady of Nuestra Señora de Peñafrancia. He found solace in prayer and was known for his unwavering Catholic beliefs.
During his leisure time, Ruben indulged in playing solitaire and had a soft spot for animals, particularly pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. His warmth extended not only to people but also to the beloved creatures around him.
Having attended school in the Philippines, Ruben valued education and was a constant learner throughout his life. His experiences shaped him into the loving and caring individual that many knew him to be.
Ruben Morato Ledesma Sr. is survived by his children: Darrel (Cecille), Hazel (Andy), Natalie Grace (Randy), Roselle, and Ruben Jr., along with 10 grandchildren. In their time of mourning, may they find comfort in the memories they shared with Ruben and carry forward the values he instilled in them.
A viewing and prayer service will be held on March 27th at White Emerson Mortuary in Whittier, California. The celebration of Ruben's life will bring together family and friends to honor his memory with love and respect.
