Rosie Alice Valenzuela

Rosie Alice Valenzuela was born December 7, 1926 in Fontana, California, to Alberto Tercero and Isidora (Garcia) Tercero. She passed away on September 25, 2011 in Whittier, California.Rosie grew up and attended schools in Fontana, including Chaffey High School. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in Los Angeles.Rosie and Edward Valenzuela met in high school and were married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Los Angeles on September 5, 1948.She is survived by her loving husband, Edward, of 63 years, along with four children; Rosela Price, George Valenzuela, Martin Valenzuela and Kathleen Viera; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and brother, Freddie Tercero.Viewing will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2011 at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E Philadelphia Street, Whittier, CA., with a rosary at 7:oo p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bruno's Catholic Church, 15740 Citrustree Road, Whittier, CA. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11am.Burial will follow the service at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 N.
