Richard Rick Yoshinaga was born on December 30, 1958 at St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles, California to Al and Joyce Yoshinaga. Growing up, Rick attended Dorsey High School and then went on to serve in the United States Army with the 82nd Air Borne Division.



Rick worked in retail all of his life, however, primarily he worked as a manger for Sears the 20 years he lived in El Monte. For hobbies, Rick enjoyed Video Poker Machine, gambling and being with his family.



In addition to his hobbies and profession, Rick was a man of faith. He was baptized just recently at Stonebridge Christian Church in Garden Grove.



On May 13, 2016 Rick passed away in Huntington Beach, California. He is survived by his siblings Dean, Joann and Allison, cousins Harriet, Flo and George, and his nephews and nieces (he was uncle to many) and many loving friends and extended family members, as he was loved by all.

There will be a viewing held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:30am and the funeral service will begin at 11:00am with reception to follow at College Ave Church of the Nazarene in Whittier, California.
