He passed away March 27, 2012 in La Mirada, California.'Enrique', as most people knew him, grew up and went to school in Cuba. He married Magaly Suarez on May 25, 1962 and they immigrated to the United States in April of 1967. They made their home Los Angeles County, California since that time-ultimately in the city of Whittier.Mr. Guajardo worked for Farmer John as a butcher for 37 years. He and Magaly also ran an ice cream truck on the side. Having grown up near the ocean, Enrique greatly enjoyed swimming and fishing. He will be remembered for his barbecues, banana splits-without the bananas, and his wonderful smile. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and would frequently make the rounds visiting them.He is survived by his wife, Magaly; daughters, Belky and Marlene; and 5 grandchildren, Cameo, Katrina, Elysha, Aaron, and Anthony.Viewing will begin at 4:00pm on Friday, March 30, 2012 with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00pm. All services will take place at White Emerson Mortuary Chapel, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA. Private Interment will take place at a later date.
