Raymond Lawrence Andrus

Raymond L. Andrus was born November 17, 1924 in Roseburg, Oregon to Joseph and Mary Elizabeth 'Betty' Andrus. He grew up and went to school in Roseburg and then served his country in the US Army.Raymond married Peggy Hallinan on Valentine's Day of 1946. Together they raised three children, daughter, Jane and two sons, Keith and Kevin. He is survived by his wife, his children and four grandchildren, Jamie, Chris, Matthew, and Colleen.Mr. Andrus worked in the lumber industry his entire career as a Lift-Truck Operator and Yard Foreman. He enjoyed wood crafts, helping the needy, raising small farm animals, and he loved working in his shop. He was a member of St. Gregory of the Great Catholic Church.A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 10th from 6-7 pm at St. Bruno's Church, 15740 Citrustree Rd. in Whittier, with a Vigil Service to follow at 7:00 pm.
