It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rameses Machado Hernandez, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Rameses, born on October 10, 1963, in Los Angeles, CA, was a charismatic individual, leaving behind a legacy marked by his vibrant spirit, dedication to family, and entrepreneurial ventures. His motto, "If you're feeling froggy, leap!" captured his adventurous and fearless approach to life.
Rameses was born to his loving parents, Hugo Lopez Hernandez and the late Guadalupe Machado Hernandez. He grew up in the neighborhood of Walnut Park, CA, during his formative years, alongside his sisters Rita Hernandez and Jennifer Reyes. His childhood was marked by a sense of adventure and a zest for life that would become hallmarks of his character. He embarked on his educational journey at San Juan Elementary, followed by South Gate Middle School, and ultimately graduated from Huntington Park High School. He later established his residence in Los Angeles. Rameses was a man of diverse skills and knowledge, having mastered his craft in trademark welding, carpentry, and mechanics at Los Angeles Trade Tech.
Throughout his life, Rameses was not only a family man but also a successful entrepreneur. He owned and operated thriving businesses, including a car audio installation and accessories enterprise, as well as R&H Towing. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination served as an inspiration to those around him, showcasing his commitment to hard work and achievement.
Rameses found joy in the company of his children: Rameses Hernandez Jr, Hugo Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez, Jovanni Hernandez, and Abraham Hernandez. He was a loving grandfather to Abigail Hernandez, Carlene Julie Timmy-Rey Hernandez, Maisie Samara Hernandez, and Nico Hugo Daniel Hernandez. Rameses found comfort in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments spent with his family, watching movies - "The Flash", and savoring delicious food.
In honor of Rameses Machado Hernandez, his life will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, 2023, at White Emerson Mortuary. (Please see details below) We invite all those whose lives he touched to join us in honoring his legacy of laughter, love, and devotion to family and friends.
