Ralph Jimenez Robles was born in Los Angeles, California on February 18, 1934 to Ralph and Bessie (Jimenez) Robles. Ralph and his two brothers Conrad and Jerry were raised in East Los Angeles. He attended Hammel Elementary School and graduated from Garfield High School.
As a young man, Ralph served his country in the United States Army.
Ralph's very first job was at Sears, this is where he met a young woman named Grace. The two were married and shared a life together for over 50 years until her passing in 2007. The couple raised two children, David and Lorraine.
Ralph had many hobbies throughout his life. He loved raising exotic birds- really anything to do with animals, but raising birds was a dear love. He was involved in bird societies and other associations revolving around this activity. Ralph also studdied the art of Bonsai in which he became a master in, he also raised Koi fish.
His family describes him as laid back, easy going, a great provider and always eager to help people.
On Saturday evening, January 18, 2014 Ralph passed away in Whittier, California and was reunited with his wife, Grace, son David, and brother in the presence of the Lord. He leaves behind his daughter, Lorraine Robles-Dittes, son-in law Robert Dittes, two grandsons, Julian and David Robles, his brother Conrad Robles and many friends and family, not to mention his family of exotic ducks, geese and other birds he was raising at his home.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 6:00pm White Emerson Mortuary in Whittier, California followed by a Vigil service at 7:00pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 9:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Whittier, California followed by the interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Montebello, California
