Pamela Dee Zurrica

October 12, 1950 — July 21, 2018

Pamela Dee Zurrica was born October 12, 1950, in Santa Ana, California, to Harold Jack and La Veta Ruth (Townsend) Adams. She passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, in Whittier, California, at the age of 67.

Lil Squirt, as she was affectionately called by her father, grew up and went to school in Santa Ana and graduated from Santa Ana High School. She went on to college and prepared herself for a career as a Registered Dental Assistant.

While attending church in the La Puente Foursquare Church in La Puente, California, Pamela met the love of her life, Robert Clyde Zurrica I. They were married in that same church on June 10, 1978, and they enjoyed 40 years together. In time they settled in Whittier, California, where they raised their five children, Robert II, Gloria, Jennifer, Daniel, and Rachel.

Pamela enjoyed listening to worship music, readingespecially the Word of God, doing Word Search puzzles, relaxing in the jacuzzi, going to the movies, swimming, taking walks on the beach, and going on long trips in the car. Above all else, though, she found the greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends. Pamela was the Rock to those who knew her. She was always willing to give of herself to minister to and bless the lives of others. Blessed with the gift of gab, she always had plenty of advice to share!

Family and friends will remember Pamela as a lovely womanbeautiful inside and out. She was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and exemplified His love in how she treated others. She was the biggest fan of her children and grandchildren, and she was ever the kind and loving peacemaker.

Pamela is survived by her dear husband, Robert I; children, Robert II (Tina) Zurrica, Gloria (Joe) Huewe, Jennifer Godinez, Daniel I (Gloria) Zurrica, and Rachel Zurrica; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; step-mother, Virginia; and brother, Paul.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Redeemer Church, 15151 Cordova Rd., La Mirada, California.
