Mrs. Rosalee Thompson

Rosalee Thompson was born September 16, 1950, in Montebello, California, to Rod and Dora (Romo) Gurrola. She passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the age of 62.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Thompson; son, Ryan Thompson; parents, Rod and Dora Gurrola; sisters,Rosalind Moore and Rosemary Gurrola, along with extended family members.
Rosalee was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Wife. She was a poet who was published over 135 times. Her passions included acting in musicals, painting art, volunteering with special needs adults and children, working with at-risk students, and peace and justice activism. Her joy and laughter touched many lives.
Public visitation will be on Wednesday, June 5,5-7pm with a Rosary at 7pm
at White Emerson Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 6, 10am at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 13935 Telegraph Road, Whittier, California, 90604.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Monterey Park, California.
