Micaela Zendejas was born on April 20, 1929 in Pueblo, Colorado, to Elias and Sara (Gutierrez) Zendejas. She passed away in Whittier, California, on April 25, 2013 at the age of 84.
Micaela grew up in Colorado and Mexico. She completed her high school education while living in Mexico.
After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 16, she met her husband at a dance at the Paladian in Hollywood. That led to their romance and wedding on August 20, 1954 in Los Angeles.
She worked 25 years for Acuride metal plating company while raising her family.
Her home church was St. Mary's of the Assumption, in Whittier, California.
Micaela's hobby's included sewing, nitting and cooking.
She loved to visit with her family and friends.
Micaela is survived by her children, Yolanda Magallanes and Victor Ramos. She was preceded in death by children, Arthur Ramos and Naimoi Tate.
She has 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
