Maxine L. Davidson, 95, of Whittier, California, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 in her home. Crypt-side services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October , 2012 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, California. Rev. James N. Schultz, pastor of Chevy Chase Church, officiating.
Mrs. Davidson was born May 27, 1917 in Visalia, California to Francis Earl and Martha Bernice (Hart) Blincoe. He family moved to Tracy where she was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for girls. She graduated from Glendale High School and later attended junior college.
Mrs. Davidson married her husband, William S. Davidson, Jr., March 16, 1937. They were married until his death in 2002. She was a devoted mother and an avid bridge player. While residing in Glendale, she became a lifetime member of the Guild at Glendale Memorial Hospital and served as its president for two years. After moving to Santa Maria she was an active member of the Minerva Club.
Arrangements are in the care of White Emerson Mortuary, Whittier, California.
