Carmen B. Wilson was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 16, 1933. She passed away on May 8, 2013 in Whittier, California.
Carmen grew up in Los Angeles and attended Roosevelt High School. In 1971 the family moved to Whittier, where she has lived ever since. Though she was primarily a homemaker, she greatly enjoyed working at Dodger Stadium for several years prior to her illness.
One of her great enjoyments, was eating at various restaurants. She also liked to shop on QVC, take trips to Laughlin, Nevada, work crosswords puzzles,and enjoyed all types of music.
Carmen was a strong woman with determination. She liked to have fun and exhibited a wonderful sense of humor. She was a classy and elegant lady.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Reese, Fernando Padilla, Frank Vasquez, Nancy Padilla and Norma Morales; five grandchildren; and many extended family members.
