Betty Ruth Skarda was born November 17, 1923, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Theodore and Matilde (Larson) Skarda. She passed away on December 4, 2013 at the age of 89.

She is survived by her daughter, Janeece Mann and extended family members.

Services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California, Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 11:30 am.
