Betty Jane Headon was born on November 11, 1924 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Charles and Alice (Thompkins) Hallberg. She passed away on March 11, 2013, at the age of 88.

She is survived by her husband, Archie; six children, Catherine Thompson, Bill Headon, Karen Makel, Alice Carpenter, Richard Headon and Deborah Daniel; and a total of 53 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
