Marno S. Tavarez was born on October 25, 1923 in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, Mexico, to Filomeno and Trinidad (Sandoval) Tavarez. He passed away on September 21, 2013 in Whittier, California, at the age of 90 years.

He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Tavarez; son, Marno A. Tavarez; daughters, Rosemarie Uballez and Rachel Tavarez.

A service will take place on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 10:45am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22494 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California, 92518.
