Mr. Louis Joseph Geiger Jr.

Louis Joseph Geiger Jr. was born July 25, 1920, in Albany, New York, to Louis and Mary (Hennesey) Geiger. He passed away on April 9, 2013 in Whittier, California, at the age of 92.



Louis was raised in Albany, New York and completed his education, graduating from Rensslar Polytechnic College, with a Bachelor of Science degree, in Troy, New York.

While in college he met Marian and they were married in 1943 in Albany.

Louis served our country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945 receiving an honorable discharge with the ranking of Lieutenant.

His primary occupation was that of marketing consultant in the electronics industry. He worked for General Electric for 26 years, and held many enginerring credentials.



His hobbies included golf and travel visiting Europe, Asia, Hawaii and many other destinations.



His family remembers him as a kind, gentle and family oriented man.



A public viewing will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 4-8pm at White Emerson Mortuary Chapel. A vigil will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 7pm at White Emerson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 18th at 11:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7215 South Newlin Avenue, Whittier, CA. 90602.

Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
