Mr. Guillermo Morales

Guillermo Morales, 88, passed away at his home in Whittier on December 31, 2012. Born on April 10, 1924, in Nicaragua, Guillermo was born to Pablo and Maria (Avelar) Morales. He was married to Gladys Morales in Nicaragua, and they were married 46 years before she passed away.



Growing up in Nicaragua, Guillermo attended school in his home country. After his marriage to Gladys they moved to the United States where he worked for the airline industry for 30 years. He loved cars, baseball, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching classic movies.



Guillermo is survived by his three children; Martha, Elizabeth and Guillermo, Jr., his four grandchildren; Edward, Michael, Sara, and Savanna, and his four great-grandchildren; Edward, Jr., Adrian, Samantha, and Mia.



A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 9:30AM at St. Brunos Catholic Church, 15740 Citrustree Rd., Whittier, CA. A Public Viewing will be held the night prior, Monday, January 7, 2013 from 5:00PM 7:00PM at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA. A Vigil Service will be held on Monday night at 7:00PM at the mortuary. Interment will immediately follow the Funeral Mass on Tuesday at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
