Mr. Frank Edward Knouse

August 29, 1921 — November 8, 2012

Frank Edward Knouse was born August 29, 1921 in Redding, Pennsylvania to Walter and Irene Knouse. He passed away November 8, 2012 in Whittier, California.

Frank spent his early years in Pennsylvania, moving with his family to Lemon Grove, California in 1935. After high school, he continued his education at USC where he earned a Bachelor's degree. He also met his dear wife, Marjorie Tarble, during that time, and they were married on December 1, 1944. A yearning for the ministry carried Frank on to the School of Theology where he earned a Master's in Theology. He was ordained as a Methodist minister in 1947 and enjoyed decades of service in the ministry at churches throughout California and Arizona.

To the union of Frank and Marjorie came five wonderful children, three girls and two boys: Virginia, Robert, Sylvia, Jill and Roger. Frank was a real family man. He is remembered as a wonderful husband, a loving father, and a great grandpa! He was a very giving man and family oriented. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed woodworking, music, watching sports, and doing crafts.
