Daniel Thomas Janowicz was born on June 8, 1937 in Huntington Park, California. He lived on Hope Street in Huntington Park for his early years where he attended St. Matthias Elementary School. Daniel attended the Franciscan Seminary in Santa Barbara and then went on to Loyola High School in Los Angeles, California for his high school years.
On August 23, 1958, Daniel married Catherine M. Porrazzo. The couple raised their family of four children, Bette, Tony, Steve and Tom in Whittier.
For his professional life, Daniel worked in the printing industry for 47 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, raising and training German Wire Hair Pointers with Field Trials training.
Daniel passed away in Fullerton, California on Monday, January 7, 2013. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Cathy, his four children Bette, Tony (Susan), Steve(Cathy), and Tom (Linda) Janowicz, seven grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, Blake, Jackie, Drew, Stefanie and Christina.
The services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Whittier: Vigil service: Monday, January 14, 2013 at 7:00pm Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:00am. Services will be followed by the Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights.
