Mr. Bruce Verne Roberts

Bruce Verne Roberts, 76, passed away at his home in Anaheim on March 29, 2013. Born on November 2, 1936 in Los Angeles, California, Bruce was born to Schuyler Verne & Laura Jean (Bacon) Roberts. Bruce was married to Shirley Roberts and together they had two children, Leslyn & Ben.



Bruce grew up in Whittier and graduated from Whittier High School. He went on to attend Fullerton Junior College and Whittier College. He was in the pet industry for over 50 years. His family recalls how owning his own pet-supply business gave him fulfillment in life.



Bruce is survived by his children, Leslyn (Bill) Hartley & Ben Roberts; his grandsons, Eric J. (Angelique) Roberts & Adam S. Roberts; his sister, Judith (Bob) Snyder; and Shirley Roberts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Schuyler Verne Roberts & Laura Jean (Bacon) Roberts.



A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:00AM at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA 90601.
