Mr. Arthur (Arturo) G. Castro

Arthur (Arturo) Castro was born in Mexico, on November 16, 1938 to Francisco and Trinidad (Gil) Castro. He passed away on March 10, 2014 in Pico Rivera, California, at the age of 75.

At the age of 15, Arturo came to the United States and immediately joined the United States Air Force where he served on active duty for four years and additional four years on inactive duty.

Arturo and Mary Helen met at a dance on the Williams Air Force Base in Chandler Arizona, and were married in February of 1957.

Following his service career, he came to California and began his career with Bethlehem Steel Company where he worked for 30 years.

His hobbies included working on cars, fishing and camping.

Arturo always had a smile for everyone and knew most of the people in his community.

He was a social and caring person.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen and sons, Rene, Danny and Ricky, along with 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
