Michael Wayne Drury

Michael Wayne Drury passed away in the early morning hours of October 21, 2018 after a brave battle against cancer. He was 74 years old. Mike lived an incredible yet simple life, always with his focus on others. He was a man of his word who looked for the best in everyone. He was brilliant, hilarious, witty and kind. Generous, selfless, a friend to everyone and the life of the party. So strong and strong-willed, with the brightest eyes and warmest smile. Always up for an adventure and ready to help anyone in need. The most loving, self-sacrificial husband, father, and Mikey. He taught us all so many valuable lessons that we will carry for a lifetime and do our best to pass on to future generations. Most of all, we will remember his love and selfless care for all of us. He is so loved and will be sorely missed.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, LuAnn, his children, Sean Drury (Lesley Miller), Shannon Eich (Greg), Jesse Drury (Dyan Domoslai), and Raelyn Randall (Jackson), his grandchildren Jeffrey, Tatum, Henry, and James, along with many other family members and friends whom he loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you honor and remember Mike in the way that he lived. Make a new friend, love your neighbor, help someone in need, have an ear to bend or guidance to give.

A limb has fallen from the family tree,
I keep hearing a voice that says, Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song,
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, Im counting on you,
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest,
Remembering all, how I was truly blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small,
