Maximino Cuevas

June 8, 1937 — March 15, 2025

Pico Rivera

Maximino Cuevas passed away peacefully in his home on March 15, 2025, in Pico Rivera, CA, and is now reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Esperanza. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness, humility, and hard work touched the lives of all who knew him.

Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Maximino came to the United States in search of a better life for his family. Through dedication, sacrifice, and determination, he turned that dream into reality. He lived each day with purpose, always working hard to provide his loved ones with greater opportunities and a brighter future.

Maximino will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic but also for his gentle heart and humble spirit. He found happiness in life’s simple moments—he loved visiting family, spending time with his children, and cherishing every moment with his beloved wife. As the years passed, Maximino and Esperanza grew inseparable, spending weekends together- leaving the house early in the morning and returning late at night, like two lovebirds. They found joy in each other’s company and in the simple adventures life had to offer.

Later in life, one of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren, watching them grow and sharing special moments with them. At home, he cherished quiet afternoons with Esperanza, sitting together on the yard’s canopy swing beneath the shade of a tree—listening to music, talking for hours, and simply enjoying each other’s presence.

Maximino leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, perseverance, and devotion to his family. His memory will continue to live on in our hearts and lives forever.

He is survived by his children: Maximino Jr., Juan, Gabriel, and Olga; along with his six loving grandchildren.

While we mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved Esperanza, the love of his life, embracing once again in God’s eternal paradise.
