Matthew Leyva born on March 31, 1993 in Whittier, CA to Martha Falcon passed away on January 22, 2023 in Santa Fe Springs. He was 29 years young. Matthew, known as Matt to his family and friends, was born and raised in Whittier, CA. He graduated from La Serna High School. After high school he attended some classes at Rancho Santiago College. Just 3 years prior his passing Matt started his career in carpentry.

Matt lived free and loved to ride his motorcycle along Pacific Coast Highway. He was a happy and funny person, always joking and making others laugh. Matt loved his dog Chongo and enjoyed to spend time with his family and friends. Matt was a risk taker and not afraid to try new things. He was determined to do what he wanted and not care what other thought. He was very strong willed.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, getting tattoos, working out at the gym, snowboarding, Jiu Jitsu, and attending Raiders and Dodgers games with family and friends. Matt was a very likeable person and had many friends.

Matt is survived by his mother, Martha Falcon, Brother, David, Sisters, Melissa, Selenia, and Christina. His Nephew and Nieces, Kyra, Kenzi, Laila, Ethan, Cash, Kaiya and his dog Chongo.

Matt will be missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout his life.
