Maryann Pasillas Mireles

Maryann Pasillas Mireles was born January 19, 1939, in Whittier, California, to Cresencio and Jane (Escamilla) Pasillas. She passed away June 23, 2014, in Santa Fe Springs, California, at the age of 75.



Maryann grew up in Santa Fe Springs and attended school in Whittier, California. She was the eldest child of seven, with five brothers and one sister. On November 5, 1960, she married the love of her life, Robert B. Mireles, in Downey, California. Maryann was a devoted wife and mother of four children, Elizabeth, Robert, Virginia and Susan. She was also a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren.



Family gatherings were the biggest joy of Maryann's life. She also loved to listen to soft rock music from the 60's and 70's while dancing with her grandbabies in her arms.



Survivors include her children, Elizabeth, Robert, Virginia and Susan Mireles; sister, Margaret Pineda; brothers, Robert, Alfred, and Edward Pasillas; and 4 grandchildren, Michael Black, Marissa and Anthony Perez, and Breanna Mireles.



Viewing will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. A funeral service will follow at 10am the next morning, Wednesday, July 2, 2014, also at White Emerson Mortuary.
