Maria G. Gonzalez

Maria Ninfa Guadalupe Leija Gonzalez passed away on March 22, 2019. She was born on November 10, 1925 in Santiago Papasquirao, Durango Mexico.

She came to the United States in 1945. She held various positions through the years. Her greatest one was raising her family, Louis, Linda, Alex, and Oscar. She enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, sewing, and helping wherever need be.

She is survived by her sister Susana Garcia, Grand Children: Vickie, Joseph, Carlos, Christopher, Carlina, Tatiana, Rando, Ryan & Riley. Great Grand Children: Alexis, Emma, Adrian, Eva, Julian & Eliana. Along with numerous nephews & nieces in Mexico.

We would like to thank the staff at Whittier Hills for their unending loving care they gave our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.

A public viewing will be held at White Emerson Mortuary and begin at 9:30am on Thursday, March 28th 2019 followed by a prayer service at 10:30am. Funeral arrangements by White Emerson Mortuary of Whittier, California.
