Maria Catalina (Katy) Soltero was born in Mexico on August 26, 1927, to Francisco and Guadalupe (Lepe) Soltero. She passed away on June 18, 2014 at the age of 86.
She is survived by her nieces, Aurora Topete, Astrid Topete and Justina Rodgers, along with extended family members.
A public viewing will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 5-8pm, with the vigil at 7pm, at White Emerson Mortuary Chapel, Whittier, California
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 26, 2014, 9:30am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 7215 Newlin Ave., Whittier, California 90602.
Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
