Her early years in Mexico shaped her character, instilling in her the values of love, resilience, and devotion she would carry throughout her life. Maria met the love of her life, Blas Portillo, in 1954, and the two shared an instant and deep connection. They married in 1962, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Maria is survived by her beloved husband, Blas Portillo, six of her children, her grandchildren, and their families.
