Margaret Rubio

Margaret passed peacefully from this life the evening of July 8th after a gradual decline in her health. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregiver during the last days of her life. Margaret was born in Los Angeles, California, on February 18, 1935. She married Raul Rubio on June 21, 1952 and had three daughters Cynthia, Zena and Patricia. They moved to Whittier, California in 1967 where they bought their first home to raise their three girls together. Later, she would help raise three more little girls Leslie, Coleen and Denise, her granddaughters, the daughters of Cynthia (Coleen) and Zena (Leslie and Denise). Through the years, Margaret would also help care for her great grandchildren and her two other grandchildren Rudy (Kenneth) and Steven. She loved all of her children, grand-children and great grandchildren. They were the ones that kept her going and she always made sure her family had everything they needed. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her family. Margaret and her husband Raul, retired in Whittier, California where she lived the remainder of her life with her loving husband Raul (her Bean) and her family by her side.Margaret is survived by her husband Raul, three children Cynthia, Zena and Patricia, grandchildren Leslie, Coleen, Denise, Rudy (Kenneth) and Steven, great grandchildren Daniel, Exra, Katelyn, Nathan, Steven, Brendan, Hannah, Lucas, Isaac and Kylie, step granddaughter Mia, son-in-law Rick Perez (Cynthia), grandson-in-laws Xavier Guevara (Leslie), Billy Campana (Coleen), Eddie Sandoval (Denise), granddaughter-in-law Jennifer (Rudy), brothers Robert and Frank (Kay), sisters Mary, Virginia, Eva, Pat and Maureen, sisters-in-law Empara, Connie (Chelo), and Aurora, nieces, nephews and friends.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at 9:00AM at St. Francis Xavier Church, 4245 Accacia Ave., Pico Rivera, California.
