Margaret D. Carlson

Margaret D. Carlson passed away February 17, 2015 in Pasadena, California. She was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on June 28, 1913. She was 101.



Margaret graduated from Hurley Hospital School of Nursing in Flint, Michigan. She was married for 57 years to Evert Carlson. They lived in Bay City, Michigan until 1967. They served as missionaries in the Philippines for 10 years and retired in Whittier, California. She was a volunteer hospice worker in Whittier and was a member of the Whittier Area Community Church.



She is preceded in death by her husband, Evert Carlson, and her son, Jeffrey Carlson. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Delcamp; son-in-law, Sam Delcamp; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.



Services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. A Visitation will be held at 10:15AM with the Funeral Service at 11:00AM. Private interment will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier.
