Lorraine Edyth Canning was born March, 13, 1939, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Alphard and Florence R. (Scollick) Threlkeld. She passed away on September 10, 2013, in Sacramento, California, at the age of 74.

Survivors include her husband, Charles 'Chuck' Canning; children, Robert (Carolyn) Canning, Tamara (Jerry) Haar, Deborah (Bryan) Petersen and Cheryl (Randall) Mead; grandchildren, Pari, Carissa, Katelyn, Holly, Trevor, Cameron, Collin, Conner, Kira, Allison, Caleb, Aleigha, Avery and Mason; and siblings, Joan Stephen, Sue Hill, and Robert Evans.

Viewing will take place from 9:00 - 9:40am on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2351 La Harbra Blvd., La Habra, California. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
