Leslie L. Peauroi, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Whittier, CA on September 27, 2018 surrounded by her family. Leslie was born on May 5, 1944 in Salinas, CA to her parents Lester & Irene Nunes. On October 10, 1970, Leslie was married to her beloved husband, Henry Peauroi, in Panorama City, CA and together they celebrated nearly 48 wonderful years of life together. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.Leslie grew up in Salinas graduating from North Salinas High School. She went on to attend California State University, Fresno where she received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and would go on to become a CPA. It was through her vocation as an Accountant that she met her husband Henry who was also a CPA. Together they settled in Whittier where they made a wonderful life together. They had two children, Alain & Danielle, and had an excellent partnership working together for the care and commonwealth of their family.Being involved in her community and finding things to do was never difficult for Leslie. Over the years, she was actively involved in the East Whittier Jr. Woman's Club, the Assistance League of Whittier, the National Charity League and the P.E.O. Chapter in Whittier. She loved to keep herself sharp by always reading. And she and Henry always enjoyed traveling, gaining wonderful experiences each place they went.Leslie is survived by her husband, Henry Peauroi; her children, Alain Pearuroi & Danielle (Michael) Kozicki; grandchildren Avery & Brooklyn Kozicki; and many friends she gained over the years.A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Bruno's Catholic Church, Whittier. A private graveside service will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Assistance League of Whittier (Mailing Address: 6339 S.
