Lawrence Ramirez Jr. (Larry), beloved Husband, Father and “Papa” passed away on April 9, 2023, at Pomona Valley Hospital. Larry was born August 30, 1947, in Hanford, California to Lawrence L. Ramirez and Henrietta Amado Ramirez. Larry spent most of his childhood in Corcoran and Compton, CA. He then attended middle school and finished high school at John Glenn High School in Norwalk, CA. He then attended school at Cerritos Community College. After marriage, he moved to So El Monte, California and a few years later moved with his family to Chino, California. He is survived by his beloved wife Judi Ramirez of 32 years, son Jerry and Lawrence Ramirez lll and grandchildren. Larry retired from Timken after 43 years. He enjoyed his retirement and spent most of his time with his family and friends. Those who met Larry knew he could hold a conversation and make you smile. He loved telling stories about his past and adored his three grandchildren: Serenity, Lauren, and Jayden. Larry was a huge football fan and true fan of the Rams. He was a fan of the LA Rams, stuck with the team when they moved to St Louis. He also enjoyed baseball games and his favorite baseball team was the Angels. Even though most of Larry’s family are Dodger fans he still stuck with the Angels. He kept it interesting since he was an Angel fan. Larry was a real jokester; he would like to tease and pick on you if you were one of his favorites. Larry was full of life and one of a kind.
