Lauren Marie Hernandez

May 17, 2007 — March 14, 2025

Lauren Marie Hernandez passed away at home on March 14, 2025, in Whittier, California surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, girlfriend, best friend and friend to many. She was born in Whittier, California on May 17th, 2007, to Peter and Christina Hernandez and is survived by both her parents, her brother Michael and twin sister Alyssa.

Lauren possessed remarkable courage and strength in her battle against brain cancer. Her determination and resilience were truly inspiring to witness. She not only fought bravely but also became a beacon of hope for all of us, uniting us through her incredible spirit and unwavering positivity. Not only was Lauren incredibly strong but she was also a sweet and silly person whose infectious laughter echoed like music in any room she entered. With her vibrant personality and exceptional sense of humor, she had a remarkable talent for making everyone feel liked and treasured. Her laughter had the power to uplift spirits, turning the most ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Beyond her charming demeanor, Lauren had a profound admiration for all animals. Whether it was rescuing a stray or caring for her own beloved pets, her compassion for all living beings shined brightly. This love extended to her other passion: molding clay. With strong hands and a creative soul, she transformed simple blocks of clay into beautiful sculptures, each piece reflecting her unique personality and happy spirit.

Additionally, Lauren had a deep love for the beach and ocean. The sound of crashing waves and the feel of warm sand between her toes brought her immense joy. She often sought solace by the sea, finding peace and inspiration in its beauty and boundless horizons. Whether she was collecting seashells, swimming or simply basking in the sun, the beach was a place where she truly came alive.

As we gather to remember Lauren, it's impossible not to feel the void of her absence leaves. She was truly a beautiful ray of sunshine, radiating warmth and positivity that touched each of our lives. Her smile, bright and genuine, had the magical ability to light up even the darkest days. We will carry her memory in our hearts, cherishing the laughter, love and adventures she shared with us, and deeply missing the joy she brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, our beautiful angel. Your spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts, treasuring every moment we were able to share with you. Until we see you again, know that you will be immensely missed and lovingly remembered every single day. We are incredibly honored and blessed to have shared 17 wonderful years with you. Thank you for choosing us to be your family forever.
