Laura "Marie" Keller

Laura Marie Keller, Marie, passed away on November 25, 2014 in La Habra, California at the age of 94. Marie was born in Hubbell, Nebraska to Charles Calvin and Laura Ada (Corwin) Warthen.



Marie served her country in the United States Army in World War II and was promoted to the rank of Sargent.



Denver, Colorado was Maries home for about 30 years of her life where she worked as an accountant in the county administrators office. After her retirement, she moved to La Habra, California for the last two years of her life to be near her nephew and niece-in-law, Don and Ofelia Warthen.



Marie enjoyed reading and watching Jeopardy and going shopping with Don and Ofelia. Marie was raised in the Methodist church as a child, though later in her life she was involved in a few non-denominational churches. She was a woman of faith and read her Bible faithfully.

Marie passed away on November 25, 2014 in La Habra, California. She is survived by her nephew Don, and niece-in-law Ofelia, many great-nephews and nieces, and friends.



There will be a Graveside service on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11:00am at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
