Josephine O. Pedroza

Josephine Pedroza - beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,
sister, aunt and friend to many - passed away at age 84 on August 10,
2023, in Whittier, California.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas and was one of six children to the late
Antonio and Maria Ortega.
Despite her passing, Josie’s memory will forever live on through her
adoring family and friends. She was a faithful Christian who had a steadfast
love for the Lord and a devout prayer life. She refused to lay her head
down for the evening until she prayed for her family and friends. Josie also
had a lifelong enthusiasm for learning. In her later years, she resumed her
formal education and earned a bachelor’s degree in business
administration. She was extremely intelligent, highly motivated and strongwilled.
She adored animals and found much joy in crocheting, gardening,
reading and Sudoku.
Though our beloved Josie will forever be missed here on earth, her family
and friends take comfort in knowing that she is where she belongs - in the
loving arms of our Lord.
