Jose "Neto" Ernesto Rodriguez, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 30, 2024, in Whittier, California, at the age of 60. Born on August 9, 1963, in El Salvador, Neto embarked on a courageous journey to make Los Angeles his new home, where he dedicated himself to raising his family and creating a life filled with love, art, and culinary delights. In 1986, Neto's life was forever changed when he married the love of his life, Mirian, in El Salvador. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed three remarkable daughters who became the center of their world.

 Neto's unwavering commitment to his family was evident in his tireless work as an Assembler and later a Chemical Compounder in the Cosmetics industry, ensuring that his loved ones were always provided for. But Neto's true passion lay in the world of art. From the tender age of seven, when he first discovered the magic of painting in the second grade, Neto's heart was captivated by the power of creativity. Throughout his life, he found solace and joy in capturing the beauty of landscapes and flowers on canvas, pouring his soul into every brushstroke. The happiness that his paintings brought to those lucky enough to receive them was a testament to the warmth and generosity of his spirit. Known for his incredible hospitality, Neto had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. His culinary skills were legendary, and his barbecues were the stuff of family lore. He had a gift for bringing people together, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Neto's loss is felt deeply by his wife of 38 years, Mirian; his children, Elisa Carolina Cole, Beatriz Rett, and Yesenia Rodriguez; and his grandchildren, Jacob Cole, Benjamin Cole, and Erin Rett. As they navigate this difficult time, they find comfort in the knowledge that Neto's love and legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. 

A viewing and prayer will be held at 5pm on Friday July 19, 2024, at White Emerson Mortuary, followed by a reception from 6pm-8pm at the same location. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday July 20th, 2024, at White Emerson Mortuary, with interment to follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park at 1pm.

José Ernesto Rodríguez, conocido como "Neto", un amado esposo, padre y abuelo, falleció el 30 de junio de 2024 en Whittier, California, a la edad de 60 años. Nacido el 9 de agosto de 1963 en El Salvador, Neto se embarcó en un valiente viaje para hacer de Los Ángeles su nuevo hogar, donde se dedicó a criar a su familia y crear una vida llena de amor, arte y delicias culinarias. En 1986, la vida de Neto cambió para siempre cuando se casó con el amor de su vida, Mirian, en El Salvador. Juntos, construyeron una vida hermosa y dieron la bienvenida a tres hijas que se convirtieron en el centro de su mundo. El compromiso inquebrantable de Neto con su familia se hizo evidente en su incansable trabajo como Ensamblador y luego Componente Químico en la industria Cosmética, asegurando que sus seres queridos siempre estuvieran provistos. 

Pero la verdadera pasión de Neto es en el mundo del arte. Desde la tierna edad de siete años, cuando descubrió por primera vez la magia de la pintura en segundo grado, el corazón de Neto quedó cautivado por el poder de la creatividad. A lo largo de su vida encontró consuelo y alegría al plasmar la belleza de los paisajes y las flores en el lienzo, derramando su alma en cada pincelada. La felicidad que sus pinturas traían a quienes tenían la suerte de recibirlas era un testimonio de la calidez y generosidad de su espíritu. Conocido por su increíble hospitalidad, Neto tenía una manera especial de hacer que todos se sintieran bienvenidos y amados. Sus habilidades culinarias eran legendarias y sus asados eran parte de la tradición familiar. Tenía el don de unir a las personas, creando recuerdos que serán apreciados por las generaciones venideras. La pérdida de Neto la siente profundamente su esposa de 38 años de casados, Mirian; sus hijas, Elisa Carolina Cole, Beatriz Rett y Yesenia Rodríguez; y sus nietos, Jacob Cole, Benjamin Cole y Erin Rett. Mientras atraviesan este momento difícil, encuentran consuelo al saber que el amor y el legado de Neto perdurarán a través de las innumerables vidas que tocó. 

Se llevará a cabo un velorio y oración a las 5 p.m. el viernes 19 de julio de 2024 en White Emerson Mortuary, seguido de una recepción de 6 p.m. a 8 p.m. en el mismo lugar. Se llevará a cabo un funeral a las 11 a. m. el sábado 20 de julio de 2024 en White Emerson Mortuary, y el entierro se realizará en Rose Hills Memorial Park a la 1 p.m.
