Jose Angel Jimenez

Our beloved Jose Angel Jimenez was born on September 13, 1961 and passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 59.

Jose is survived by his wife Rebecca Jimenez, sons Victor and Kevin Jimenez, step daughter Denise Lopez, step daughter in-law Sondra Stray, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, an extended family and many friends. He was proceeded in death by his step son Len Stray who gained his wings in April 2021.

Jose began his career at Bimbo Bakeries USA/Oroweat Bakery. in 1986, his primary position being a machine operator in the Bread Wrap Department. Jose was hard working, passionate about his job and always willing to help and train others. He was a mentor, friend and well respected by all.

As many are aware, Jose was known to family and friends as Papi, a name given to him for his endearing personality. Jose enjoyed soccer and was a devoted SF 49er fan for over 40 years. He was so full of life, a dedicated and loving husband and all-around family man.

After 35+ years in the baking industry, Jose was looking forward to his retirement in January 2022. His plans were endless! From his 60th birthday party to buying his dream car, traveling, and spending time with family [including Milo], relaxing and enjoying his pool.

Loved by many, Jose will be missed tremendously. He left us a legacy of beautiful memories and will live forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully in paradise dear Papi, fly with the angels and play music with Lenny! We love you today, tomorrow and for eternity
